Rathdrum Man Found Dead In Culvert

A 68-year-old Rathdrum man was found dead in a vertical culvert in the Willadsen Road area late Sunday afternoon, according to a Kootenai County sheriff’s report. Dean A.N. Primmer, who was upside-down in the culvert, was dead upon the arrival of deputies and North Lakes fire personnel. The culvert is about a quarter of a mile west of the 17000 block of Highway 41. KCSD detectives are investigating this death.  An autopsy will be performed later this afternoon/KCSD news release.
