Mary Attacks Library Deed, LCDC
Sometimes, it’s hard to keep up with the various gripes and connect-the-dot theories offered by Mary Souza, et
al, at OpenCDA.com. Take Mary’s recount of a recent public meeting in which Sharon Culbreth, Rep. Kathy Sims, and Mary harangued city leaders for its library deed (claiming LCDC owns the library not the city); Riverstone buildings; high city salaries (of which she might have a legitimate point); and, of course, her favorite pincushion, Lake City Development Corp.

DFO: I’ve been thinking this week what Coeur d’Alene would be like if Mary, Bill, Sharon, Kathy, Dan, and Steve Adams were running the Coeur d’Alene City Council over the last 10 to 15 years. How many of the great projects that have transformed this city would we have? Have any of these guys offered one idea for a capital improvement? If you combined their entire vision for the future of Coeur d’Alene, would it be enough to fill a thimble?
