University of Idaho President Duane Nellis speaks at a news conference announcing the release of former assistant professor Enesto Bustamante’s personnel records this afternoon in Moscow. Bustamante, a psychology professor who gunned down a graduate student he had dated and then took his own life two months ago, had disclosed his bipolar disorder shortly after he was hired in 2007, according to a timeline released today.
