Brower is collaborative

Spokane was again named one of the 100 Best Communities for Young People for having the well-being of children and youth as a priority. In recent years, Spokane has been similarly recognized for the quality and education of the workforce as well as the quality of the living environment. One of the reasons for this recognition is the quality of Spokane public schools.

In my experience as a business owner and as a parent of children educated in Spokane schools, and as a colleague, friend and relative of many parents with children in Spokane schools, I have found our youth to be remarkably well-served. I see young people around Spokane who have attended public school here and who have successfully entered the workforce. I see our students excelling in undergraduate and postgraduate study in public and private colleges and universities around the country and beginning successful careers.

Public education in Spokane is a success due to quality teachers, involved parents and exceptional administrators. Deana Brower recognizes that all are important to continued improvement, and that a school board member’s responsibility is in collaborative leadership. Please join me in voting for her to serve Spokane.
