Peterson shaped city

Josh Beckett has commented that there is no going back to yesteryears, and that we need effective leadership going into our second decade. However, he also likes to cast the world as good vs. evil.

In his mind, all developers are evil, and he is our savior. But I suggest everyone stop a minute a take a good look around. Do you not enjoy living on tree-lined streets, neighborhoods with parks, retail and commercial buildings located in ways that are friendly to neighborhoods?

Steve Peterson was one of the people who has helped guide the city’s growth in this type of direction. Working with developers, saying no where appropriate and yes when it is good for the city is what has given everyone this wonderful community to live in.

So if you enjoy the beauty and thoughtful, organized growth that made Liberty Lake, you can partially thank Steve Peterson and elect him mayor again. It is his vision that will keep Liberty Lake such a wonderful place to live.
