Padden is the best

A person’s true character is shown in how that individual treats the most vulnerable in our society. It is even more significant when that behavior occurs outside the glare of a spotlight. The 4th Legislative District of Washington state is fortunate to have Mike Padden, a man of great character, willing to represent us in the state Senate.

For years, Mike has been a volunteer driver for Meals on Wheels and in doing so he has visited many of the elderly in our district who live alone and in great poverty. Mike’s friendly smile and willingness to help now gives many of them hope that their gentle voices will truly be heard in Olympia.

Mike has served young people in our district as American Legion baseball commissioner, where he has inspired and motivated hundreds of youth to work hard to accomplish their goals.

There is no doubt that with his 14 years of service to our district in the House of Representatives and his years of service as a District Court judge, Mike is by far the most qualified candidate on the November ballot. Considering the shape our state is in, we cannot settle for anything less than the best.
