Put people to work

I urge our Republican and Democratic Congress members alike to put 1 million jobless Americans to work every two weeks between now and Nov. 1, 2012.

I urge your readers to mail, email, fax or phone these members of Congress on the first and 15th of each month between now and Nov. 1, 2012, and ask, “Have you put an additional 1 million Americans to work?”

Perhaps with pressure from the American people, Congress will find ways to help unemployed Americans find jobs in this country and help this country get back on its economic feet. We can only hope.
