Facts point to Padden

It’s convenient to use stereotypes to judge candidates. You can ignore facts. I refer to a letter supporting Jeff Baxter, because he is a “fresh face” and opposes Mike Padden, because those with experience got us into the economic mess.

By that reasoning, we all should have supported Obama as a “fresh face” who is bringing hope and change and oppose Ron Paul, with 20 years in Congress, as the problem. It doesn’t matter how long you are in office, what matters is having and staying true to right values.

Padden was in office for 14 years and never voted for a tax increase and always supported a better business climate. He has the record to prove it. Baxter has been appointed a few short months and has already squished.

His literature says he favors “lower taxes” but he is on record as being “open to tax and fee increases.” He admitted that position is out of step with the 4th District voters. What also matters is having someone who knows the process, rules and procedures, so they can lead and be effective.

Baxter’s five months doesn’t hold a candle to Padden’s 14 years.

Look at facts – vote Padden.
