HydroFan: Include Edinger In Recall

OldHydroFan: The idea that this recall effort is about the three items listed by Orzel and Co. is BS. If one applies the rationale listed on the petitions then Edinger needs to be included in this recall effort. His fingerprints are all over the employee pay and benefit structure that has evolved over the last umpteen years while on his watch at city hall. He also has been part of the budget setting and approval process for these same decades of service. This is a singular issue about McEuen and McEuen only with all the other dissatisfaction being piled on trying to gain negative traction with as much of the cities voters as possible. It is personal…….and is extremely skewed.

DFO: Methinks OldHydroFan makes an excellent point re: Edinger. He may oppose the McEuen upgrade. But he’s part of the council described in Mary Souza/Strategery flyer that, ahem, “pursues their agendas behind closed doors,” continues “to approve high and excessive city salaries” and “consistently voted to support questionable projects which resulted in increases in your property taxes.” (Remember Kathy Sims/Tom Macy attack ad from 2007 that included Edinger?)

Question: Should Edinger be included in recall effort?
