Child Abuse? Really?

On the police scanner moments ago, I heard of a Hauser Lake woman who was accused of child abuse at Rathdrum Super 1 because she was yelling at a child who was throwing a tantrum on the ground. At least, that’s what it sounded like from the brief information provided. The woman got the child in the vehicle and left before police arrived. But they have her license plate number and home address. She could be in trouble. I often hear calls reporting child abuse from grocery stores. We’ve all scene harried mothers trying to deal with children who are melting down. So I’m curious …

Question: Is this child abuse? Or someone poking their nose into a harried mother’s business?
