Manson To Boycott Parole Hearing
A California parole board is meeting today without Charles Manson present to determine if the mass murderer could be considered “suitable” for parole. Manson has been denied parole 11 times over the years and his several violations of prison rules over the past five years do not bode well for any hopes of freedom. Manson is serving a life sentence for seven murders in a 1969 killing spree in Los Angeles. True to form, Manson boycotted. “He has not shown up for several of his latest hearings, since 1997,” Calif. Department of Corrections spokesman Luis Patino told ABCNews.com before the hearing began. “He told his counselor that he did not plan on attending”/ ABC News . More here.
Question: Should Charles Manson ever be allowed to go free?
