  • 3:26 p.m. Officers have taken a man into custody who apparently tried to escape them by jumping into water (but I didn’t get location), possibly in northern Kootenai County because Timberlake Fire District was called to bring a harness. The man was hypothermic and clinging to an abutment above a waterfall when officers were finally able to arrest him. He was still uncooperative.
