Rolling … standby … action!” I burst out of the front door of Stimson Hall at Washington State University, waving an orange swimming pool noodle and holding on to my floppy blue and white striped hat. By order of the director, 70 college-age extras and I ran down the stairs and in front of the camera whooping and carrying everything from inflatable beach balls to flippers. The romantic comedy, starring Vera Farmiga and Andy Garcia, tells a tale of two people who fall in love while taking their children on a college tour. The scenes I was involved in, filmed Tuesday, feature college students running out of a dorm and into a fountain, hence the swimming gear/ Meredith Metsker , Mocow Pullman Daily News. More here .
