Breaking Up w/Dish So Hard To Do

On his Facebook wall, Kevin Richert of the Idaho Statesman writes: “So, eight days after dropping Dish Network to return to DirecTV, I’ve received an email and a snail mail saying Dish is “willing to do almost anything” to get us back. Of course, they’ve neglected to send us the prepaid box so we can return the remotes and the receiver that are oh so important for them to get back, although they called the house today to ask about the stuff they left at our place when we parted ways. Now, if Dish doesn’t get this stuff back on time, they may try to hammer us with some “and-the-horse-you-rode-in-on” late fee. Yes, Dish Network has officially become the weirdest ex-girlfriend ever.

Question: I’m considering a return to Time-Warner after several years with DirecTV. I miss the local-access Channel 19 coverage of local government. Would you recommend the move?
