Wild Card/Monday — 8.13.12

Now that the Summer Olympics is over, we can all reclaim control of our lives from 8 p.m. onward. Actually, I wasn’t glued to my set during the Olympics. But I still viewed more action than I probably should have, including a couple of hours of last night’s closing ceremonies when I kept hoping they would get better. China did opening and closing ceremonies much better than London. Mebber better than anyone. Now we can all turn our attention to the remaining dog days of summer — and the possible ripening of our garden tomatoes. Here’s you Wild Card …
