Knezovich earns support

My husband and I live in a large subdivision northeast of Spokane, outside any city limits, and are therefore under the aegis of the Spokane Sheriff’s Office.

Our household has not suffered any property crime loss, petty or otherwise, but some of our neighbors have. And without exception the Sheriff’s Office has responded timely and thoroughly. A pricey bicycle stolen out of a garage? A deputy was there the same morning. An old beat-up bicycle (that the thief left in place of the pricey bicycle) stolen the next day? A deputy came back that day also.

Car abandoned on blocks in front of our house, obviously stripped, apparently stolen? A sheriff’s deputy was there within hours, dusting for fingerprints and having the remains of the car removed.

Sheriff Ozzie Knezovich has offered to supervise county and city law enforcement. I believe he would do a good job.
