School Board Trustee Appointment Tonight

The CdA School District 271 Board of Trustees have scheduled 50 minutes in tonight’s special meeting agendato find a replacement for the Zone 5 seat vacated by Sid Frederickson.  The five applicants are:

• Realtor & PTA volunteer  Kathleen Tilman;
• business owner and Reagan Republican Jim Hightower;
• retired senior maintenance operator from the Kootenai County Jail, Shelley Woodard;
• licensed social worker, Tom Hearn; and
• Marketing sales rep and Kootenai County GOP Precinct #53 Committeeman, Matt Robinson.

Tonight’s meeting will take place at the Midtown Meeting Center at 5 pm.  The person appointed will be up for election in May 2012, along with 2 other recently appointed trustees.   Previous Press article here .

Perhaps an applicant would drop by HBO and introduce themselves here to the blogosphere.  In the meantime, any guesses as to who the remaining 4 trustees will choose to appoint?
