Believers unite against Obama

In response to the Aug. 17 letter from Timothy Rolfe: Why is it a surprise? Many evangelicals and others are so tired of the way our country is headed that we are voting for the team that is opposing the status quo. They believe in God and his laws, and this country needs that. It is what we were founded on and why we became the great nation we are.

We have lost a lot of the respect that other nations had for us. For a president to return gifts previous presidents received from other countries is a slap in their faces and ours as citizens of America. I can only pray that this team is elected.
