Monday Wildcard 8.27.12

Well. It’s Monday. Or as I call it, Sit At Your Desk Until You Make Deadline Day.

Hope you got a chance to enjoy the gorgeous weekend weather. Saturday night was mother/son date night for my youngest and me. Dinner and a movie. We saw The Odd Life of Timothy Green. I think I enjoyed it more than Sam.

I’ve always made a point to spend time alone with each of my sons— especially during their 6th grade year— because I know their willingness to hang out with Mom will be soon be a thing of the past— at least for awhile.

But now, it’s back to work time. Am I the only one who works in a deadline driven industry?
