N. Idaho traffic accidents
First this:
Three people were injured in a head-on collision around 10 p.m. Tuesday on U.S. Highway 95 in Kootenai County.
Jedidiah Heath, 22 , of Spokane, was driving a 1996 Toyota 4 Runner south on the highway near Garwood Road when he crossed the center line and collided with a northbound 2012 Hyundai Genesis driven by Vanesa Fetrow, 41, of Harrisburg, Penn., the Idaho State Police reported.
Heath, his passenger, Del Turley of Careywood, and Fetrow all were injured and were taken to Kootenai Medical Center.
All were wearing seat belts and airbags were deployed in both vehicles, a news release said.
Then this:
One person was killed in a single-car accident early this morning in Post Falls.
The vehicle was speeding east on Poleline Avenue around 12:30 a.m., a news release from the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office said. The driver lost control at the intersection with Meyer Road. The car went off the road, hit a tree and rolled over.
Both occupants, who were not wearing seat belts, were thrown from the car. One was pronounced dead at the scene; the other was taken to Kootenai Medical Center and is in critical condition, the release said.
The Sheriff’s Office Traffic Team is investigating. It is not known if alcohol was a factor.
Be careful out there! When is the last time you had a car accident?
