When good restaurants go bad

A berrypicker reports that his family had an unpleasant experience at the Breakfast Nook, Saturday.

The spot used to be a family-favorite for weekend breakfasts, but after several bad experiences they moved on.

On Saturday, they decided to give the Breakfast Nook, one more try. “We waited 25 minutes for our food,” said the berrypicker. “When I cut into my son’s pancake it was runny and raw in the middle.”

The food was sent back. A hungry kid had to wait. After breakfast, he sent his family to the car and asked to speak to the owner. She apologized for the meal and offered several excuses. “Didn’t change the fact that the food sucked,” said berrypicker.

Have you eaten at the Breakfast Nook recently? What do you do when you experience a bad meal at a restaurant?
