Secessionists Fail History, Logic

More than 6,000 Idahoans apparently need remedial classes at their nearest high school. These people say it’s time for Idaho to secede from the union. So they’ve flunked history. They know next to nothing about the Civil War. It took four years of bloody conflict to put down the Southern insurrection. Nobody’s tried it since. Give them an F for economics, too. Idaho gets $1.28 back for every $1 in taxes it sends to Washington D.C. That’s because Idahoans make little money, so they need more help - Medicaid, food stamps, Medicare and Social Security. Leave the union and say goodbye to federal highway funding, the Idaho National Laboratory, Mountain Home Air Force Base, aid to public schools, grants and loans to college students and farm subsidies.Sociology?
