…
We have our game story from WSU’s 52-41 win over Jackson State last night in today’s newspaper. On the blog, we had a post with our tale of the tape and a post with some postgame video courtesy of WSU Athletics. The newspaper also ran this editorial about the review of the football program today, as well (though as a point of clarification, the email sent to Moos on Nov. 1 wasn’t anonymous — the name was just redacted in the records released by the school). … Howie Stalwick wrote about the game for the Kitsap Sun. … Here’s the AP story . … Ted Miller says Mike Leach needs to look in the mirror . … Braulio Perez reports that Reggie Moore will play basketball at Western Washington next season . … Another report that receivers coach Eric Morris is headed to Texas Tech to join Kliff Kingsbury’s staff.
In Pac-12 football news … Is Mike Riley really interviewing at Wisconsin? There are varying reports. … Washington, and the rest of the Pac-12, battled penalty issues this season. … Arizona’s running back turns into something resembling the Hulk on game days . … Arizona State will welcome a transfer from Auburn. … An Oregon State cornerback is on the brink of history. … Utah will play games against Fresno State in the future. The Utes’ top defender could be the NFL’s top draft choice . … Colorado alumni just want what’s best for the program.
In Pac-12 basketball news … Washington coasted to an 87-74 win over Seattle University last night . … California needs its point guard to not try to do too much . … Arizona will face a Florida team that relies on turnovers to fuel its offense. … Colorado was satisfied with its ugly win two days ago.
That’s all for now.
