Only a lawyer, indeed

Wow! Matthew Descamps (Dec. 2) should not be declared a career criminal. Only an attorney and legal language that contains no common sense at all, and a law professor at Gonzaga University who says “It’s an issue only a lawyer can love,” prove that they do not live in the real world.

If Descamps is not a career criminal, then I would love to know who the heck is.

Johnson states, “My most important issue is my client.” To me the most important issue is, who is paying the attorney fees? To me, your client should be the public who has to suffer the idiots in this world like Descamps, and then pay you to weep over him. Gag me!
