Teddy bears remain in seats

Spokane Chiefs fans are eagerly waiting to throw their teddy bears on the ice after their team’s first score, but Tri-City goalie Eric Comrie is holding up the fun. The Chiefs have peppered Comrie with 15 shots (to seven for Tri-City) during a first period that ended scoreless. The teddy bears will be donated to needy children.
