Weekend Wild Card — 2.24.12

Local politics are almost in full bloom in North Idaho, with incumbents and challengers announcing intent to run for office. Filing begins Monday, I believe, and continues through March 9. While election officials fill out the lineup cards, you’ll have to start thinking about party affiliation. I’d urge all Independents, unaffiliated, & even some Democrats to consider signing on as Republicans.
