Otter Still Planning To Run In 2014

Asked why he chose to announce at a North Idaho fundraiser last month that he’ll run for a third term as governor in 2014 - just one year into his current second term — Gov. Butch Otter said, “I didn’t choose to make the announcement there. That was not part of my idea and part of my script. It was a fundraiser, and it’s a fundraiser, by the way, that I started when I was in the United States Congress, of having a Christmas formal, a Christmas party, in northern Idaho. We do the same thing with a harvest ball in eastern Idaho. However, I responded to a question, and the question was are you planning on running in 2014.
