Priest’s opinion not mine

Why should a Catholic priest’s opinion determine the laws that I have to live under? According to Gov. Chris Gregoire’s own testimony, she went to her priest to get his opinion and blessing as to voting to allow gay marriage in our state! Obviously, her conscience was troubled enough that she needed to get the soothing balm of another person whom she set high atop the ladder of moral or biblical truth!

All I can add is remember Sodom and Gomorrah, for which there remains evidence to this day (charred bits exactly where these cities once stood), God’s grace to make clear. Those cities were totally destroyed because of gross immoral behavior! Hello! God is not to be mocked – ever, no matter how much we want to pretend sin is so beautifully wonderful!
