EWU places 52 on Big Sky All-Academic teams

Eastern Washington placed 52 athletes from four sports on the Big Sky All-Academic team for Fall 2011, the conference announced. Here is the full list , which includes athletes from all nine member schools.

And here’s the breakdown for Eastern:

football, 16 athletes; volleyball, 10; cross crounty 8, and soccer, 18. To be eligible, an athlete must participate in at least half the team’s contests, achieve at least a 3.2 grade-point average and have completed at least one term of school.
