Levy good for business

I encourage citizens of Spokane to vote yes for Spokane Public Schools’ operations and maintenance levy by Feb. 14. As a commercial real estate agent, I am frequently on the front line of showing businesses the Spokane area as an option for expansion or relocation. Without exception, every business asks about the local school systems.

Healthy schools not only produce an educated and viable workforce, healthy schools are an indication of a community’s priorities, values and aspirations. In short, good schools are good for business and good for our regional economy.
