Can it be that the caped wonder who’ll be showing off his Batmobile in the 4th of July Parade Wednesday is choosing up sides in the Kootenai County sheriff’s race? Here, Batman is shown with Independent candidate Bob Foster, city of Coeur d’Alene code enforcer, earlier today. Huckleberries is told that Foster was known at Batman and his partner as Robin when he was working vice with the Oakland, Calif., Police Department. Foster and two other Independents will be on the ballot with sheriff’s Major Ben Wolfinger, a Republican, in November.
