Poll: 4 More Years For Her Sandiness

• 4th of July Holiday Poll: Hucks Nation is still fund of Coeur d’Alene Mayor Sandi Bloem, who remains unbowed after silly Souza-Orzell-Sims recall attempt against her. A plurality of Hucks Nation, 111 of 232 respondents (47.84%) prefers the mayor to eight other candidates listed in the 2013 mayoral race. Should Bloem run & win, it would be her fourth term as mayor. Councilman Mike Kennedy, 41 of 232 (17.67%), finished second in the voting, and Dan “Make Me Mayor” Gookin, 32 of 232 (13.36%), third. Others receiving votes were: Sara Meyer (15, 6.47%), Mary Souza (13, 5.6%), Ron Edinger (9, 3.88%), Jennifer Drake (6, 2.59%), Rita Sims-Snyder (5, 2.16%), and Steve Adams (1, 0.43%)
