In the Drunks Behaving Badly Downtown category, Coeur d’Alene police officers dealt with two goofs that were lucky to get off with a warning at 4th & Sherman/CdA around 10:55 p.m. Friday, June 29. The incident started with two officers warning the two males to get out of the roadway & back onto the sidewalk. Now, to the report: “As the officers drove away, one of the male jumped into the street and did a funny dance. The officers circled the block and returned to the male advising him of the law about being intoxicated in a roadway. Although the male was wearing a very distinctive shirt, he insisted it wasn’t him – must have been someone else. The male smelled intoxicated.
