Thursday Wild Card 7.12.12

I’m going to try to cram in a week’s worth of work today, in preparation for a short family vacation.
My ambitious agenda includes writing my column, writing at least one chapter of my book, “War Bonds: Love Stories From the Greatest Generation,” a phone interview, and shopping for supplies for the trip.

Then when I get home I’ll supervise the packing and clean the house. My Mom taught me to clean my house right before vacation because nothing feels better than coming home to a tidy house. As usual Mom is right, but it makes leaving town a bit more arduous.

Oh, yeah. And there’s this blog thing.

I taked to DFO yesterday. He didn’t call collect, so I don’t think he’s in Canada. Or jail.
