Anti-police rants are boring
The angry Doug Clark continues to rant (July 8: “Abandon hope, all ye who would be our police chief”). Thankfully, I’m not paying for this garbage that you continue to print from Clark.
As a citizen of this great city who has lived here most of my life, I say a prayer every night for our terrific Police Department that has dedicated officers who are never really off duty. They are dedicated public servants who are sworn to protect public safety at any time, and they do an outstanding job.
Clark is a thorn in their side. He continually tries to tear the department down rather than giving them the kudos they deserve. I feel blessed to call Spokane my home, where I am proud of our incredible law enforcement, firefighters, dispatchers and other public servants. I’m only sorry that Doug Clark does not feel the same. That is why I gave up The Spokesman-Review.
The same garbage written over and over, and over and over, becomes just a bit monotonous. Sorry, I thought I was Doug Clark for a moment. Yikes.
