Whom to vote for?
I am a Caucasian male, and since I am not African-American, Hispanic or a female, neither party (Democratic or Republican) seems to desire my vote or to represent me. I am not a racist or a feminist; my interest is that of a concerned citizen.
We have a Democratic president running for re-election whom I totally disagree with, especially the health care bill.
We have a Republican candidate running for election who is totally out of touch with the American people.
We have congressmen and senators that pass bills that they do not read or research.
We have a U.S. Supreme Court doing a terrible job upholding our Constitution. They seem to be voting their party line. It is time to revisit their life term.
Both Democratic and Republican parties have so many loyal voters, I feel I have to vote for one of the two candidates and not as an independent.
The United States would not be in this chaos today if everyone followed President John Kennedy’s advice to “Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country.”
