At her Cat House & Shooting Gallery, JeanC reports: “My walking onions are coming along nicely. I won’t be pulling any up this year (well, maybe a couple that haven’t bloomed yet), I want them to replant themselves and then I will start harvesting next year.” More here. Meanwhile, my onion sets this year have proven to be a near total bust. Tomatoes & squash are doing well. Ditto for the herbs (lavendar, sage, oregano, thyme, etc.) But not so much onions.
