Riccelli is a leader
Many people do not realize how much of an asset Sen. Lisa Brown has been for Spokane. As Lisa steps down as Senate majority leader, she leaves a legacy of leadership that will be difficult to replace. As a longtime supporter of Andy Billig, I’m excited to see him run for Brown’s seat. Andy has proven to be a remarkable legislator these past two years, and deserves our support.
However, I’m even more excited that the young and experienced Marcus Riccelli could work alongside Andy next year. Spokane needs strong leadership, and Riccelli could make all the difference.
For over a decade, Riccelli has been involved in this community. I’ve seen his work ethic and integrity. You can tell why Lisa Brown selected him to be her senior policy adviser, or why U.S. Sen. Maria Cantwell selected him to serve as Eastern Washington director.
It is because when you meet Riccelli, he is a leader.
Riccelli knows Spokane like the back of his hand. Just ask about his childhood in Spokane (or the Gonzaga Bulldogs) and he beams with pride. I’m proud to see him stepping up to represent our hometown. I know he’ll make you proud, too.
