RE: Spokane officer from Post Falls dies in H200 crash with hit-and-run driver /SR

Idaho State Police news release: “Law Enforcement authorities are no longer looking for the driver of the blue dodge pickup involved in the crash that occurred on 7/24/12 around 10:30 pm on Highway 200 near milepost 53.  Brianna Knapp (DOB 052984) contacted law enforcement authorities and has been interviewed.  Based on information gathered from the interview, Knapp was arrested for leaving the scene of a fatal crash.  (I. C. 18-8007).  ISP is looking for and wants to talk to the unknown female driver of a small 2 door black car.  This Good Samaritan picked up a female driver of a disabled blue dodge pickup on Highway 200 near milepost 53.  We want to talk with the driver of the small black car and any other person who drove through the crash scene shortly after 10:30 pm.  Contact ISP, and investigation is continuing.
