Lighten up, voters

The big election for president of the United States will soon arrive. I heard that the Republicans drive their cars in the daytime with their lights on (this provides extra safety). The Democrats drive their cars at night with their lights off. Yes, it’s just a corny joke.

I am not a Democrat. If you are, just reverse the political parties above. Times are tough and the economy is sour. Yes, just lighten up and live. Enjoy life and tell jokes.

The holy Bible states in Proverbs Chapter 12 and Verse 5: “Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad.”

In addition to telling jokes (which is good), you can look at the coming presidential election the way former President Ronald Reagan did. He said, “Government is not the solution to the problem. Government is the problem.”
