Wild Card/Monday — 7.30.12

We should be entering the dog days of summer on Wednesday. But most of you realize that summer is only about a month old in reality. It rained through June and into mid-July with a break to celebrate the 4th of July. Still, we’ve had it far, far better than two-thirds of the country that is suffering drought. So embrace August as possibly our only true month of summer. And keep your fingers crossed for another wonderful Indian summer beyond that. Now for your first Wild Card of the week …
