Chase is trustworthy

How many voters know what responsibilities and powers are given to the three elected Spokane County commissioners?

The Spokane County Board of Commissioners executes all legislative power authorized. These powers include, but are not limited to, adopting and enacting the budget appropriation expenditures and setting policy. The board also establishes fees, comprehensive use plans and conducts public hearings and meetings.

Commissioners have the final say on planning and zoning issues. It only takes two commissioners to make a decision, and how they rule can make or break a family’s finances. Any voter who votes without doing his homework is an enemy of freedom. As Thomas Jefferson said, “Ignorant and free never was and never can be.”

It is critical that we select county commissioners who are proven capable and trustworthy. In the 2nd District County Commissioner race, we have such a man in Rob Chase. What a great asset he will be as county commissioner! Please vote for Rob Chase.
