Poll: Thumbs Up To Downtown Art

• Monday Poll: Rick Davis’ “Ganesha” sculpture and its replacement, Jason Sanchez’s “Art & Soul,” received thumbs up from Hucks Nation. 85 of 136 respondents to the Monday poll liked one of the pieces of downtown Coeur d’Alene public art or the other — or both. 40 (29.41%) preferred “Ganesha.” 39 (28.68%) marked “both” when asked which they preferred. 6 (4.41%) voted for “Art & Soul.” Meanwhile 51 of 136 (37.5%) said they didn’t like either sculpture at the corner of 6th & Sherman.
