Recall: Sara & Jennifer Still Smiling

Amazing that Sara Meyer, left, and Jennifer Drake, co-organizers of the Stop the Recall movement, can still smile after more than 60 days of the bruising campaign w/the forces trying to overthrow the Bloem administration and seize control of the City Council. Especially before 7 o’clock on a weekday morning. Here is how they appeared Wednesday morning on the KVNI/ESPN 1080 show with Joe Paisley & Kerri Thoreson. The Souza-Orzell-Sims crowd must turn in their petitions on Monday, where they will be counted by Republican County Clerk Cliff Hayes’ Election Department and part-time hired hands without any outside witnesses. (For those keeping score at home, almost two-thirds of Hucks Nation say Hayes should allow witnesses from each side to watch the verification process. But Hayes has told me via email that that isn’t going to happen.)
