Coeur d’Alene Held Hostage, Day 62: One more weekend of Mary Souza & Co. reminding us of how badly the city is divided by standing on sidewalks with their Recall signs. Then, the action moves behind closed doors of Republican County Clerk Cliff Hayes’ Election Department. Where the regulars and part-time hired hands will decide how many Recall signers are legit voters. I guess organizers from either side can decide whether marginal signatures and address are judged liberally or conservatively by checking the lists later. Again, I’ll say, the process should be open to outside witnesses to watch how marginal signatures are handled. Now for your Wild Card …
