Casey: Who Will Get Most Signatures?

CaseyinCDA brings up a good question in a private email to Hucks HQ: “I have never seen the actual petitions, but is it 4 separate petitions for each member of the council or is it one petition for all four? Can you pick and choose or do you have to go all in?” Answer: You pick and choose — one recall for each of the four individuals targeted by RecallCDA. Which would mean that there will be different numbers for each of the petition drives. I’d predict that Councilman Mike Kennedy will have the most signatures because OpenCDA.com & Reagan Republican operatives who are driving this Recall hate/hate/hate Mike for being a Democrat and having the audacity to survive challenger Jim Brannon’s long court challenge over Brannon’s 3-vote loss in the 2009 council election. Dunno who’d be next in line with most votes. But I’d guess Councilwoman Deanna Goodlander, a regular attender of Pachyderm Club breakfasts but not Republican enough for the scorched-earth purists in her party.
