Coeur d’Alene Held Hostage, Days 64-65: I listened to the last 2 1/3 innings of the Seattle Mariners 1-0 no-hit victory over the visiting Los Angeles Dodgers while sitting out on the porching reading Friday night. A great thing for a young club on the rise. Two years from now, we’ll be talking about the Mariners as the favorite to win the AL West. They have a foundation of young players on the club now, with dyne-oh!-mite pitching headed their way from the minors. I still look forward to listening to the M’s while gardening on nice summer evenings. If/when summer ever gets here. Now for your weekend Wild Card …
