Coeur d’Alene Held Hostage, Day 68: If those disqualification numbers hold up — 12-13% — we’re headed for a recall election. And this community will be held hostage that many more days. Great for blog numbers. Lousy for best mayor this town has had in my 30 years in Coeur d’Alene — and better half of the City Council, which is targetted for recall. Oh well, a recall election doesn’t mean the officials will be recalled (see: Wisconsin). Who knows? This town might come to its senses and quit following RecallCDA pied pipers.
