Salute to strong women

Several recent articles in your paper have demonstrated the power and strength of American women.

Much needed truth was stated in the June 9 op-ed applauding and defending our religious women. To the list of those who have greatly contributed to our region, please add the Ursulines of Moscow, Idaho, who have provided outstanding education for over 100 years.

Remember the old TV ad, “She can bring home the bacon, fry it up in a pan”? The nursing warriors take that to a whole new level: She can provide the best possible food to a child, and then defend our nation on land and in the air. Excellent message about the versatility and potency of America. We should make a point of sending it to our misogynistic enemies abroad.
