Poll: Recall Failure Blame Game

• Monday Poll: When asked who the Souza-Orzell-Sims Recallers will blame for the failure of the recall attempt, Hucks Nation said “saboteurs who fraudulently signed petitions, following by Huckleberries Online and Decline to Sign movement. 114 of 543 respondents (20.99%) said Recallers would blame saboteurs, followed by HucksOnline, 85 of 543 (15.65%) and Decline to Sign, 73 of 543 (13.44%). Others receiving votes were: “fat, dumb and happy Coeur d’Alene residents,” 69 votes (12.71%); County Clerk Cliff Hayes, 57 (10.5%); City Clerk Susan Weathers, 52 (9.39%); Coeur d’Alene Press, 38 (7%); paid signature gatherers, 31 (5.71%); and “other,” 25 (4.6%).
